We want to extend to you an invitation to a very special event at Mercy Hill Church.
From Ascension Thursday (May 26) to Pentecost Sunday (June 4) Mercy Hill Church will be engaging in a time of corporate prayer, worship and meditation. In an attempt to commemorate the time spent by the disciples in the book of Acts from Christ's ascension to the day of Pentecost we are going to prioritize spending time in God's presence as a community. For many in our modern Christian experience communal worship and prayer takes a backseat to the other activities of our lives and we want to intentionally clear our schedules to make time with Christ, in community, our number one priority.
Starting on the 26th the church will be open from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm when you will be able to come to the church and spend time in prayer and worship. There will be special directed times of intercession, worship, teaching and meditation as we wait on the Holy Spirit to work in our lives individually and corporately. All church activities will be redirected to this event. (Youth group and kids will still meet at normal time on Wednesday evening (June 1).
Please make it a priority every one of these 10 days to spend at least some time seeking the Word of God being revealed to us, the Body of Christ through the Holy Spirit. As we do, we are expecting a special move of God in our midst.
