The Empowered to Connect Conference features two days of practical teaching in a safe and supportive community as we work to equip families, churches, and professionals to better serve children impacted by trauma.

The conference is held live in Texas this year and we have an opportunity to view it via simulcast at our Bay View location. We'll view "Day 2" live with everyone else on Saturday, April 6th, then view "Day 1" three weeks later on Saturday, April 27th. Both days run from 9AM-5PM.
Parents of adoptive and foster parents can bring the certificate of completion to their agency to qualify for training credits.

Anyone in our congregation who teaches, serves in our youth group, participates in Safe Families or has a desire to serve in our Special Needs ministry is strongly encouraged to attend, but it's open to anyone interested. The simulcast is free to attend.
